How do I book an assessment?

Please use the Book button below or at the top of this page.  Once your assessment is booked, an appointment letter will be sent to you with a short questionnaire which needs to be returned before the assessment. This gives us information about the stairs/layout in your current property. Please bring any relevant photos of your stairs to the assessment.  There is no charge for this assessment.

What happens at the assessment?

An occupational therapist will complete a brief interview first asking details about your medical condition or disability and how this affects you. We will then carry out a practical assessment to check how you use the stairlift/through-floor lift and whether you can use it safely within the Centre.

What happens after the assessment?

Following your assessment you will receive advice and information on the equipment that you tried and a list of reputable retailers and funding sources.
