Here at the Centre we have quality meeting rooms for hire – three different types of room outlined below, available for full day or half day hire.
All room hires are provided with tea and coffee facilities, chairs and tables as requested and a reception team who will be able to direct your delegates to the room and other amenities. Taxis can also be arranged through reception. Hoists and moving and handling equipment are available at an additional cost. Please note your requirements on the booking form which can be found in the Booking section.
Photocopying is available at a cost of 10p per copy.
Accessibility – there is onsite disabled parking and a car park to the rear of the building for delegates that are able to access this comfortably. There are two lifts and accessible toilets are both upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs has a Changing Places facility, with a ceiling hoist and changing table.
Main training room
A light, first floor large space suitable for manual handling training, classes and meetings.
- Capacity – 45 theatre style, 20 classroom based, 12 for manual handling training including trainer.
- Facilities – large television screen stand (subject to availability, must be booked in advance), flipchart with paper and whiteboard. Projector on request.
Cost – full day: £150. Half day: £75
Duration – full day is 9:30 am – 4:00 pm. Half day is 9:30 am – 12:30 pm or 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Optional equipment package £40. Typically containing three mobile hoists, H frame ceiling hoist, two electric profiling beds. Smaller moving and handling equipment including slide sheets and patient turners.

Room 2
This is on the ground floor and is suitable for board meetings and smaller functions.

- Facilities – large television screen stand (subject to availability, must be booked in advance), flipchart with paper, whiteboard, ceiling hoist.
Cost – full day: £90. Half day: £45
Duration – full day is 9:30 am – 4:00 pm. Half day is 9:30 am – 12:30 pm or 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Smaller rooms
We have two smaller meeting rooms – Room 4 and Room 5, on the first floor. They are similar in size. Suitable for intimate meetings such as case management discussions or team huddles.
